Sanyo CCTV technology installed in MCC cricket school

Story link: Sanyo CCTV technology installed in MCC cricket school by Jan Harris

Premier cricket coaching venue, the MCC Indoor Cricket School, has installed the latest CCTV technology from Sanyo to help in the training of Test and County cricketers.

The technology is part of the School’s new Performance Analysis Suite, which is used by top cricketers including England’s Alastair Cook.

The MCC Indoor Cricket School is located at Lord’s Cricket Ground. It uses the most up to date technology to help cricketers, from beginner to expert standard, further develop their batting, bowling and fielding skills.

The Sanyo CCTV systems work in conjunction with Hawk-Eye technology, 100mph bowling machines and expert coaches.

The CCTV footage allows students to review their performance in different skills for all angles.

The school has installed twelve Sanyo VCC-9000P dome cameras and the images are recorded onto one of eight DSR-810PA digital video recorders (DVRs).

The cameras and DVRs can be controlled from a single VSP-9000 touch-screen keyboard. The images can be retrieved and viewed on a Plasma Screen and on a PC via Hawk-Eye’s software.
