Dallmeier has launched the UWDR Picodome DDF3000APV with Cam_inPIX technology.
The Picodome is designed to provide a discreet security solution. It has a vandal-resistant housing with a diameter of just 80mm, while the polycarbonate dome cover measures just 57mm.
The Picodome features a 1/3” DPS picture sensor with a fixed lens (F1.4/3.6mm) and light sensitivity of less than 0.5 Lux.
The field of view at 1/3” is D = 110°, H = 83.2°, V = 61.6°. Image transfer rate is 50 fps (PAL); 60 fps (NTSC).
To device has a push-point-and-lock function to minimise installation time and allow the camera to be configured to point in any direction.
The device also features Progressive Scan, backlight compensation, AGC, Gamma correction, signal to noise ratio of greater than 48 dB and a slow shutter speed of up to 8x.
According to Dallmeier, the Picodome is the world’s first minidome capable of delivering a picture quality normally only achieved with much larger cameras.
