BVM Ltd, a Southampton-based manufacturer of computer products for OEM’s, has extended its range of mini-PCI and PCI form factor cards with the launch of BVM MP-6010.
The new BVM MP-6010 video capture card allows a PC to process and store video feeds from a security or surveillance system. The data can then be analysed at a later date.
The MP-6010 mini-PCI card provides high-performance while still being cost effective.
The board features four-channel video and audio inputs and a single video and audio output channel, with the ability to independently configure compression parameters separately for each input channel.
Support for 120 fps NTSC at 740 x 480 and 100 fps PAL at 704 x 576 formats is provided.
The board has programmable OSG, MPEG4 and M-JPEG audio and vision compression and is compatible with Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Linux operating systems.
Using the supplied Scode DVR software, the PC display can be configured with a combination of inputs and events, including motion image detection.
When triggered, this brings the relevant feed to the forefront of the display.
BVM supplies its products world-wide both directly and via local distributors.
