Linden launches covert surveillance vehicle solutions

Story link: Linden launches covert surveillance vehicle solutions by Jan Harris

Linden Specialist Vehicles has launched a new covert surveillance vehicle service designed to reduce the cost of mounting covert surveillance operations.

The service provides vehicles equipped with the latest surveillance technology on a rental basis. The vehicles can operate in a range of environments and include cameras, digital transmission links and DVRs.

Using the vehicles, unmanned monitoring operations can be quickly deployed. Linden can also equip customers’ own vehicles with surveillance technology to meet any requirement.

Linden’s vehicles feature multiple PTZ pinhole cameras, concealed in various locations – in wing mirrors and headrests for example.

The system can transmit images of evidential quality over COFDM links to remote locations up to ten kilometres away.

As line of sight is not required, transmissions are not adversely affected by multipath interference.

Using GSM transmission, images can be viewed at any location in the world at any time of the day or night.
