Story link: Motorola Introduces Homesight Surveillance Kit In UK by Jan Harris

Motorola is planning to offer its Homesight remote domestic monitoring kit in the UK.

The system allows homeowners to monitor their property while they are away, or keep an eye on children, via a computer or mobile phone.

Reseller MySecurity247 will start distributing a variety of Motorola Homesight components in March. The Homesight range includes wireless webcams; door-seal detectors; motion, water and temperature sensors; and system controllers.

All of the components are supported by a remote access service.

The company will offer a standard service for £5.95 a month which connects two cameras and up to five other devices, and a £11.95 premium services which supports three cameras and five other units.
Individual component can also be purchased, with prices ranging from £13 for a door sensor to £40 for a camera capable of delivering viewable pictures both night and day.

All the devices connect via a controller unit and a broadband internet connection to MySecurity247’s remote service package, which links them to remote viewing kit.
