Story link: Mango DSP releases Condor PCI Blade by Jan Harris

Mango DSP, a leading provider of universal, analytic ready, DSP based Intelligent Video Servers, has released the Condor 32 Channel PCI Blade with High-End Video Processing Capabilities.
The Condor PCI-e blade is a single PCI slot solution capable of high density encoding or decoding, video streams up to 32 channels using H.264, MPEG-4 or MJPEG video compression.
The Condor processing board enables video analytics, transcoding and other applications.
It is designed to provide a cost effective and flexible centralisation solution for OEM partnerships, and is part of Mango DSP’s multi-analytic approach to threat prevention.
The Condor transforms any industrial PC station into a centralised intelligent video surveillance system. It can receive an analog video signal, and encode and stream it, either through the PCI bus or through the onboard Gigabit Ethernet ports.
The technology allows the use of Video Analytics on IP video from 3rd party encoders and IP cameras, and also enables cross channel data manipulation and the addition of multiple boards increasing the number of input channels processed on a single PC.
Mango X software allows seamless integration of any algorithms including video analytics to the Condor.
The Condor can be used as a secondary processing unit through its Ethernet ports. It can also be used as a pre-processing blade for the host PC through the PCI bus.
