VIDO Security Group, Europe’s leading closed-circuit television equipment and accessories manufacturer, is planning to seek new markets in the Middle East and Africa. The company is participating in GITEX Technology Week in Dubai, where it is showcasing its entire range of sophisticated CCTV systems. In line with its market penetration plans, VIDO will open a regional office in Dubai.
At GITEX Technology Week, VIDO’s showcase will include an array of outdoor high speed dome cameras, anti-vandal dome cameras, conch-style cameras and high speed pan-tilt-zoom cameras with IR-projectors, IP mega pixel cameras, long distance night vision PTZ cameras, CCTV lens, controllers and switchers.
The company has been targeting the Middle East and Africa for some time. With organisations in the Middle East increasing their investment in surveillance and security systems in the recent years, it seems the company has perfectly timed its entry in this high potential market.
VIDO Security Group was established in Vienna in 1995. In addition to being a CCTV equipment and accessories manufacturer, the company has its own research and development team and production line, and acts as main original equipment manufacturer supplier for major world wide security systems and CCTV companies.
Some of the VIDO products being displayed at GITEX include the G70WB26/36 outdoor high-speed dome camera; the G50AT26A and G50AT26B ATEX outdoor PTZ cameras, which are explosion proof making it ideally suited for oil and gas industry. Key features such as high quality images, and explosion and dust proof exteriors are the hallmark of VIDO cameras.
GITEX Technology Week runs from 8 to 12 September 2007 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. It builds upon the global interest in the Middle East's ICT landscape by presenting a power-packed week of dedicated trade segments.
