Norbain adds Signalight signage to CCTV

Story link: Norbain adds Signalight signage to CCTV by Jan Harris

Norbain SD, a Reading-based distributor of CCTV equipment, has entered into an alliance with warning signage supplier Signalight, to enhance its range of CCTV products.

Signalight provides illuminated signs to deliver messages either in the workplace or public areas.

The signs are activated via an integrated motion-sensor, which detects movements at up to 25 metres. As soon as movement is detected, the message lights up to prompt an action or warn of a potential hazard.

In conjunction with Norbain’s CCTV and surveillance equipment, the signs should help to act as a deterrent to crime and anti-social behaviour in areas such as car parks and other public spaces.

The clear, illuminated messaging would make members of the public immediately aware that CCTV cameras, and digital recording are in operation.

Signalight’s signage is designed for easy installation, and the equipment is also energy-efficient as it uses LED technology which offers low maintenance and running costs.
