Video Domain Technologies, a developer of digital CCTV security solutions, has launched the new MemoCam DV-800 range of event-driven digital video recorders.
MemoCam DV-800, which has been selected as an IFSEC 2007 awards finalist in the product innovation category, is a mini DVR system which can store up to 500,000 high quality images on a 4Gb mini SD memory card.
DV-800 is available in standalone or GPRS versions and is ideal for covert security, surveillance and video recording applications where the deployment of a larger CCTV solution would not be cost-effective.
The Memocam DV-800 is quick and easy to deploy, has no mechanical moving parts and does not require daily intervention or maintenance.
It connects to any standard analogue CCTV camera and captures a programmable series of digitised still photographs when triggered by an event.
Recorded events can be viewed and analysed by removing the mini SD card from the unit and inserting it into a memory card reader connected to a computer.
The cellular version allows SMS notifications to be sent to any GPRS enabled mobile phone. Images can also be emailed for access via the Internet.
