IndigoVision system grows to 250 cameras

Story link: IndigoVision system grows to 250 cameras by Jan Harris

IndigoVision, a specialist in IP video and alarm management, installed a CCTV surveillance system for St Joseph’s Health Care in Canada, in 2001.

The system was designed to be easily scalable and the number of CCTV cameras has now doubled to 250, without any additional cabling.

The surveillance system covers four of St Joseph’s Health Care’s facilities in London, Canada.

It provides complete IP-based system solutions for transmission, control and storage of live-networked video.

Operators can view live digital and recorded video from the cameras whatever their location, without the need for the installation of expensive cabling.

The system uses St Joseph’s existing wide area network to deliver live video around the site, helping to ensure that emergencies can be attended to swiftly.
