Wireless CCTV launches 3G MicroVue

Story link: Wireless CCTV launches 3G MicroVue by Jan Harris

Wireless CCTV, a UK-based provider of wireless CCTV surveillance systems, has launched 3G MicroVue, its most compact ever mobile surveillance solution.

3G MicroVue is a fully integrated unit which can be remotely controlled. Operators can view live and recorded evidential quality video footage from 2 separate cameras.

The system also features a bidirectional audio option, which can be used for applications such as eavesdropping and remote assistance.

3G MicroVue features two camera inputs, a microphone and line input, a line output and additional connectors for telemetry, alarms, relay and power.

Cameras can be remotely controlled from any laptop or pc, and feature pan, tilt and zoom capabilities. All units are supplied with a high capacity Compact Flash card.

The 3G MicroVue is ideal for operations where rapid installation and remote access are required. The compact system can be worn on the body, with the unit and battery concealed in a rucksack, making it useful for covert surveillance.

The unit can also be added to an existing CCTV system, providing a backup in the event of a network failure.
