Vista Quantum 8 recommended by Benchmark

Story link: Vista Quantum 8 recommended by Benchmark by Jan Harris

Norbain’s Vista: Quantum8 DVR (digital video recorder) has been recommended by Benchmark Magazine.

Benchmark is the CCTV industry’s sole independent source of group product tests and assessments.

According to Benchmark, although the Quantum8DVR is cost effective, and aimed at smaller solutions, this doesn’t compromise its functionality.

The DVR offers a straightforward interface for easy installation and operation, making it a popular choice with installers.

The Quantum8 is an MPEG-4 recorder, but it provides a higher image quality than most lower-cost MPEG-4 machines.

Images captured when at the highest setting do not look as if they have been compressed. The edges are still smooth, the colours remain true to the original and there is a good level of definition in grey scales.

Norbain SD distributes CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Detection equipment. It has its headquarters in Reading, and distribution and service centres in Warrington, Manchester and Blackpool. The company exports to over 77 countries in 5 continents.
