IndigoVision Launches H.264 HD IP Cameras

Story link: IndigoVision Launches H.264 HD IP Cameras by Jan Harris

Edinburgh-based IndigoVision, a manufacturer of IP video and alarm management solutions, is launching the HD 10000 series of high definition IP CCTV cameras.

The HD 10000 series complements Indigo Vision’s 8000 and 9000 IP Cameras and is compatible with its integrated end-to-end IP Video solution.

The HD 10000 cameras feature H.264 compression technology, and allow high-definition video to be streamed at 15 fps and recorded for 50 days using 1TB of storage.

The company is working on a version that will allow video streaming at 30 fps, and expects to release this shortly.

The high level compression means that the HD solution can be used on standard networks, without any frames being dropped.

It will be demonstrating the new range of professional cameras at various security events worldwide.
