Story link: Intamac announces North American partnership at IFSEC by Jan Harris

Intamec Systems Ltd, a Northampton based company, is demonstrating a new generation of web home monitoring products at IFSEC 2008, which is being held 12-15 May, at the NEC Birmingham.

The new wireless products alert users to any unexpected entry or event, and allow them to remotely manage and monitor routine events in real-time.

Intamec’s home monitoring service can be customized to alert users via phone, e-mail or text message, when events occur such as children coming home safely for school or the activities of elderly relatives.

The system can also provide alerts from water and smoke detectors.

At IFSEC, Intamec is also announcing a major partnership with DSC Tyco, to launch its new web based interactive services into the North American market.

Intamac has built a new support platform in Toronto which will be used to provide monitoring and messaging services to DSC’s customers and to support the launch of security products and video solutions.
