Neugent Technologies Inc, a manufacturer of Linux-based digital video surveillance systems, has announced its SP-3000 mini-wall mount embedded DVR.

The new, wall mount version of the SP-3000 has an innovative space-saving design featuring a compact wall mount chassis.

However, despite its small size, functionality is not compromised.

The SP-3000 Series uses advanced hardware MPEG4 compression, which provides real-time DVD-quality recording at D1 (720 x 576) resolution.

Other features include network backup, MPEG4 and JPEG video streaming, motion detection, PTZ control, and alarm notifications.

The SP-3000 mini-wallmount embedded DVR includes a networking function for remote management, and can be accessed simultaneously by more than one PC and mobile phone, using minimum bandwidth.

The system is ideal for retail outlets, commercial and small finance institutions.
