HS3 Technologies launches remote monitoring platform
Story link: HS3 Technologies launches remote monitoring platform by Jan Harris

HS3 Technologies, Inc. of Denver, USA, has announced a proprietary remote access monitoring platform, codenamed OPIE, (Outside Perimeter Investigative Equipment).
The company is at the final stage of testing the system, which had been in development for a year. OPIE combines cutting edge video transmission and storage technologies in a completely mobile platform.
The system provides remote video monitoring, motion detection sensors, proprietary wireless Mesh networking, satellite and cellular connectivity.
Solar panels and deep cycle batteries can be added to enable the platform to function independently of external AC power restrictions.
OPIE was designed for temporary deployment in areas requiring live visual monitoring. It can also be permanently installed in areas where conventional CCTV and security patrols are not feasible.
The platform can provide security to remote sites with limited access.
Multiple cameras mounted on a retractable mast provide 360 degree coverage by using a remote controlled PTZ (pan, tilt and zoom) camera. OPIE can connect to the internet through multiple communication channels; satellite, WIFI, long range radio, hardwire, and cellular.
