Aralia & Mango DSP Team Up For Video Solution

Story link: Aralia & Mango DSP Team Up For Video Solution by Rohan Parker

A partnership agreement has just been signed by the intelligent video surveillance software company, Aralia Systems Inc., and distributor of intelligent video servers for CCTV, video surveillance, and homeland security defense markets, Mango DSP.

This agreement should lead to a stronger presence of video enabling encoding, decoding, detection, recognition, tracking, searching, and analyzing of incidents, within the industry.

One part of the collaboration will be the implementation of the Raven-M and the Raven-X2, which will see regular analog video surveillance cameras being modified to become proactive sentinels which will offer highly reliable service, with the ability to analyze content as it is coming in.

Aralia brings to the partnership their unique security camera software, which can cover large areas with a high density of CCTV cameras, and which can also be monitored by only one small group of technicians.

Raven servers encode and then decode all incoming video from the analog and IP cameras, then record the data into a distributed relational database which includes real-time cataloging of video picture, automatic alarm detection and relay, and a high-speed SQL server query tool to search stored data.

The idea is that the client receives appropriate situation notification, and has constant access to any video data in evidential quality.

CEO of Aralia Systems, Dr Glynn Wright, said that the company is highly enthusiastic about delivering quality software to the Homeland Security Defense markets.

According to the Director of New Business Development at Aralia, Rob Norrington, the team-up between Aralia and Mango is going to offer customers a more streamlined service, from design through to implementation.

CEO of Mango DSP Ltd., Baruch Peled, spoke about the new methods to be used, now that the two companies are working together.

According to Peled, the entirety of the video Intelligence gathering and storage system is completely customizable and more efficient, and will reduce costs for a transition to IP surveillance methods.
