New CCTV cameras for hazardous areas

Story link: New CCTV cameras for hazardous areas by Lin Freestone

ProDetec, an Australian supplier of high quality equipment and systems, has released new CCTV cameras for hazardous areas and marine environments. These high-resolution cameras create images with crystal clear detail that is absolutely essential when applying CCTV in high risk environments.

The COEX CCTV cameras are manufactured from high grade electro-polished 316L stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance; the robust DROME camera station provides safe and reliable service in many arduous environments.

Integrated with new camera and lens technology, all camera stations are available as colour/mono for day/night operation, in either PAL or NTSC versions.

Developed as a simple and cost effective solution for many difficult monitoring environments, COEX DROME camera stations are fully functional integrated systems within a single, sealed enclosure.

The cameras have 360° pan rotation, with continuous pan as an option. There is also a revolutionary Hyperbolic tilt action and wash/wipe options, which open up the possibility to view areas well outside the scope of normal cameras, at speeds that provide the operator with fast reactions to critical incidents.

At less than 220mm diameter, the DROME’s unusually small dimensions combined with 100° tilt action perfectly suits this camera station to applications where space restrictions may be critical.
