GE Security, Inc., a subsidiary of the General Electric Co., has announced the availability of the DR2 and DM2 analog, fixed-dome cameras.
The surveillance cameras provide multiple features previously not available in single cameras, and can be installed in locations where multiple cameras would have previously been required, significantly reducing both hardware and installation costs.
The DR2 cameras are impact-resistant, weatherproof and can withstand temperatures ranging from -35 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit.
The DM2 fixed domes are encased in plastic and are available in a full range of lens configurations. The range has now also been upgraded with the same polycarbonate bubble used in the DR2, making it vandal resistant.
Other features include true three-axis gimble; full digital graphical user interface control; support for all common camera platforms; captive shroud and polycarbonate dome; compatibility with existing DR mounts; high resolution 500+ TVL sensors; and indoor, day/night and wide-dynamic range configurations.
