Ateas interconnects IP cameras with sensors from HW
Story link: Ateas interconnects IP cameras with sensors from HW by Jan Harris

Ateas Security System has used Poseidon sensors from HW Group to enhance the capability of its IP surveillance system.
The integrated Poseidon outdoor sensors detect a possible intrusion and the cameras will automatically point to the spot where intrusion was detected.
This significantly increases the level of security provided by the system, and also saves costs.
The sensors are easily integrated into the Ateas system, and one camera can provide a view of several points in the area of concern.
The system is ideal for use in data centres, where the cameras can automatically monitor rack doors whenever they are opened.
The system will store a record of the workers who access the racks, and the tasks they carry out, in the rack owner’s folder.
Similarly, in a warehouse application, the camera will point to a gate when a vehicle arrives, and the operator can open the gate from the comfort of the control room via the Ateas interface.
Both HW Group and Ateas Security are based in the Czech Republic.
