TeleEye RV432 Mobile Digital Video Recorder Launched

Story link: TeleEye RV432 Mobile Digital Video Recorder Launched by Brian Turner

TeleEye has launched the RV432, a professional 4-channel, non-PC based mobile digital video recorder designed for use on public and commercial transport for surveillance and logistics management.

The product is designed to withstand the repetitive shocks, vibrations, fluctuating temperature and power surges found in moving vehicles and is further protected from shock and vibration by a specially designed shock absorption mounting bracket.

When the vehicle is switched off TeleEye RV432 can go into shut down and standby mode ready to start video recording automatically when the vehicle’s ignition is on again. It uses MPEG-4 technology and records at up to 100/120fps.

Recording resolution can be reached up to 720×288 (PAL) or 720×240 (NTSC) pixels. The product has a removable hard drive to allow flexible storage expansion which can be linked to other PCs for viewing and playback. Video footage can also be backed up in a Compact Flash card.

TeleEye RV432 can be set for manual, alarm and motion triggered recording. It has a fast and easy search function, a security lock to prevent unauthorized access to the unit, telemetry control, intelligent playback, IR remote control, dual composite video outputs and OSD menu.
