Vista launches Blade hybrid DVR
Story link: Vista launches Blade hybrid DVR by Jan Harris

Vista has launched a new line of DVRs called Blade, which provide high resolution images and high performance for systems which combine analogue and IP cameras.
The Blade hybrid DVRs feature network inputs for connection to IP cameras with a maximum of 20 inputs – 16 analogue and four IP.
Live and recorded video can be viewed over a network using MPEG-4, and multiple DVRs can be controlled from multiple locations.
Each camera input has a dedicated codec which allows the camera to set to any compression level, in any quality, at any image rate per second.
Macros are incorporated to allow the DVRs to be programmed to different configurations. All the DVRs can record a full 25ips for each camera.
Up to four internal drives provide between 160GB and 3TB of internal storage.
