AD Network Video demonstrated its TransVu Express digital video recorder at IFSEC 2007.
TransVu Express is a compact and lightweight DVR designed for use on buses, public service vehicles and taxis for covert and mobile surveillance. It is also suitable for rapid deployment on building sites.
The ruggedised device features aerospace grade anti-vibration mounts. Its low power consumptions means that it is suitable for use in isolated areas with no mains power supply. The DVR can run off batteries or via solar power.
TransVu Express benefits from a number of features usually only found on more expensive units. It is able to automatically download footage and system status on request via wireless communications technologies, and can be accessed remotely via cellular networks.
The device features intelligent power management - ignition and supply voltage sensors enable the unit to carry on recording for a period after the vehicle’s engine has been switched off.
TransVu is built on the core AD Group NetVu Connected technology, and can be seamlessly integrated with other AD Group servers and DVRs including market leading Dedicated Micros products.
