Be Home Monitor Service withdrawn

Internet service provider, Be Unlimited, has informed users of its Be Home Monitor service, that the service will be withdrawn on 18 September.
The Be Home Monitor package includes a networked security camera, browser access to the video feed and MSM updates to a mobile phone.
There is a motion-activated alarm feature, which can alert service users to activity in, or around their home, while they are out.
This is activated with a small key fob.
The service, which costs £150 for the camera, plus a monthly fee of £5, has provided additional security and independence to disabled customers, who can position the camera to monitor the entrance door, so that they can see who is calling.
Be Unlimited, which is a subsidiary of O2, says it is closing the service because its partnership with the service provider is ending.
It has promised to update customers on 20th August
