Conway Security Products has launched a new range of camera housings - the C212, C212X and C212SS - for fixed camera installations.

The housings, which are produced in the UK, are designed for use with CCD cameras (charge-coupled device) with fixed or vari-focal lenses.

The housings come with an energy-efficient screen demister. They are designed to be easy to install and include a sliding camera tray to provide easy access for set-up and service.

The C212X housing features a sliding, adjustable sun visor to help preserve picture quality in direct sunlight. This feature is particularly useful if the camera is to be used in exposed locations, such as for road and trackside monitoring.

The adjustable visor outperforms the traditional fixed camera peak which cannot be adjusted.

The C212SS is a stainless steel version of the product.
