Scyron & Steria launch multimedia CCTV solutions

Story link: Scyron & Steria launch multimedia CCTV solutions by Alan Harten

Recent information, such as the Metropolitan Police statistic that only 3% of London crimes were solved using CCTV last year, have highlighted the need to improve management and analysis of CCTV footage to support intelligence-led policing.

In response, UK security and surveillance services company, Scyron has announced a strategic partnership with end to end services provider, Steria to address the issue.

The new partnership will see Scyron’s surveillance and multimedia evidence management software become Steria’s de facto solution for analysis, capture and management of video, photographic and audio evidence for the Emergency Services, principally for Police Services in the UK as well as for Defence.

This will see more effective use of technology to tackle crime and provide greater evidential weight to the prosecution.
