Maplin to distribute Bikal’s IP CCTV solution

Story link: Maplin to distribute Bikal’s IP CCTV solution by Jan Harris

Bikal entered into a distribution deal with electrical retailer, Maplin, last month, making Candy Bar Cam, the world’s first plug and play IP Camera, available in Maplin’s chain of around 400 UK outlets.

Candy Bar Cam is also available on Maplin’s website.

The Candy Bar Cam IP Camera is designed to be easy to install in less than a minute – simply plug it into a network, and its software will install it automatically.

It is available in wired & wireless models with MPEG4 video, audio, motion detection and remote access from PC or 3G mobile phone, and comes with free 16ch surveillance software.

Once installed, users can view their property from anywhere in the world over the internet, and up to 16 IP cameras can be connected.
