Football staff could wear hidden CCTV

802 Global, a UK CCTV company, is in talks with an unnamed Premier League football club, to supply wireless closed-circuit television technology to its security staff.
The tiny cameras could be concealed in lapels and hats to transmit live pictures from inside the stadium back to a control room.
The images would then be scanned real time to identify problems and antisocial behaviour.
The technology has already been tested in city centres and is also used to stop cash-in-transit theft and protect VIPs.
The use of such technology at events such as football matches is likely to be controversial when Britain already has the highest levels of surveillance of any country in the world, with an estimated four million CCTV cameras in use.
