Alnet Systems has released released ‘Net Station’ software which transforms a PC into a Network Video Recorder (NVR).
The system works with up to 64 cameras, of which up to 32 can be analog cameras and the remaining 32 network cameras. All 64 cameras can be connected in IP technology.
Using the differential image compression method an exceptionally good image is provided through low bandwidth media such as GSM / GPRS.
Net Station allows the user to view and steer PTZ (pan tilt zoom) dome cameras remotely from a mobile phone.
A further advantage is that a greater amount of data can be stored on the hard drive in comparison with other compression methods.
The Net Station system is easy scalable and will adjust to simple as well as to the most advanced installations.
