Aucom’s DIY surveillance kit is targeted at small businesses and home owners who require a cost-effective security solution, with the bonus that it can be easily accessed over the internet.
The kit includes a built in video server for streaming network video over a network. A user can connect to the DVR from a home network or from anywhere on the internet.
The dome colour CCTV video surveillance camera features a Sharp CCD image sensor and large 1/3 inch CCD. The camera is powered by the included 12 VDC power supply. Output signal is a 1V p/p, suitable for connection to any composite video input found on televisions, video recorders, video capture cards, multiplexers, splitters, amplifiers, etc.
The camera will operate in any well lit area and is easy to install. The lens can be replaced to suit the required viewing angle.
The system is idea for CCTV video surveillance, security camera installations, security monitoring, image capture, robotic machine operation monitoring, and Internet web cam.
It can be connected to a digital video recorder for 24 hour live monitoring and is suitable for live video streaming using a video web server. It has embedded DVR applications for a low cost CCTV Surveillance solution.
The system also features an optional microphone and pre-amplifier for audio recording.
