Story link: Norbain announces availability of AXIS 211W Network Camera by Jan Harris

The AXIS 211W Network Camera is now available through Norbain, a Reading-based distributor of CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Detection equipment.
For ease of installation and relocation, the camera offers both a wireless IEEE 802.11g/b connection to the network and a wired Ethernet connection supporting Power over Ethernet.
The product comes with an omni-directional indoor antenna. An outdoor antenna and housing is also available.
The camera’s network capabilities include IPv6 support, which removes the worry of a growing shortage of IPv4 addresses, and Quality of Service, which enables the reservation of network capacity and the prioritisation of mission-critical surveillance data in a QoS-aware network.
The system also provides support for Enterprise or Personal Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA/WPA2) for wireless communication, HTTPS encryption, and IEEE 802.1X network access control.
The AXIS 211W Network Camera can be used for security surveillance of public areas such as retail stores, offices and educational establishments.
