EarthCam, Inc., a New Jersey, US-based webcam technology specialist, has announced a new webcam, the MegapixelCam Advanced, which combines 8 megapixel high definition and live streaming video.
MegapixelCam Advanced is ideal for monitoring construction projects, and providing site security.
It features a heavy-duty enclosure, maintenance free washer-wiper system and cooling fan, for use in challenging environments such as those experienced on construction sites.
The enclosure is designed to withstand severe weather and dusty conditions.
The camera’s high resolution time lapse archiving technology means that it can also be used to provide content for corporate websites, print advertising and HDTV presentations.
The ability to switch to live full motion video provides a useful remote monitoring facility which can help project managers manage day-to-day activities.
The MegapixelCam Advanced is supported with EarthCam’s Exclusive Control Center 7 software, which provides solutions for managing, monitoring and marketing projects.
