Safe School Technologies launches security systems for schools
Story link: Safe School Technologies launches security systems for schools by Jan Harris

London-based company, Safe School Technologies, has launched a number of security systems specifically designed to protect the safety of pupils and school teachers.
The systems aim to fulfil the specific security needs of schools, which may not be fully addressed by systems from generic security companies.
The products include SentryVision, a security management CCTV solution, which can be deployed to monitor key areas and record any incidents. SentryVision is a cost-effective solution that can deter anti-social behaviour.
TeacherVista is a continuing professional development product, with which teachers can record themselves teaching. This allows them to build up a teaching bank that can be viewed by trainee teachers and pupils who have missed the lesson.
A third product, ImpartialView, monitors and records an area, and also has audio capability, providing a powerful tool for implementing and monitoring behavioural policies. It is useful in situations when false accusations have been made, ensuring that both sides of the story are available.
Safe School Technologies plans to pass on a proportion of its profits to education projects around the world through its Educ8! Programme. Schools can choose a beneficiary from a list of 8 projects.
