Directed Perception has announced the availability of the PTU-D47 model computer controlled pan-tilt unit.

The fully integrated, computer-controlled unit provides precise pointing and real-time control of cameras and other payloads to 12 lbs.

It features a rugged all-in-one design which supports single and multi-part payloads including cameras, lasers and antennae.

It offers speeds to 300 degrees/second, position resolution to 0.01 degrees, and speed and position command changes at over 30Hz supporting a wide range of applications including real-time tracking.

An available software API supports integration with custom applications.
