Optelecom-NKF Inc, a global supplier of advanced video surveillance solutions, has released the Siqura FD27, a fixed dome camera.
At just 4.2 inch in diameter and 1.9 inch in height the camera is designed to be discreet, while still providing high quality video.
Even in poor light, the 1.3 megapixel, light-sensitive chip will provide detailed pictures.
Flexible live monitoring and recording options are provided with the Siqura FD27’s high frame rates and dual streaming of MPEG-4 and MJPEG.
The camera also has built-in microphone, and an alarm that will alert the operator if anyone tampers with the equipment.
The rugged camera is ideal for use in commercial and retail environments and also in schools.
A privacy mask option is available for use in sensitive areas, such as ATM keypads or cash registers.
The Siqura FD27 is powered over Ethernet, and offers easy and low-cost installation.
Optelecom-NKF has its headquarters in Maryland USA, and a UK office in Bolton.
