CIEFFE has developed a 2 Mpixelcamera which can elaborate images using an MPEG4 compression algorithm, 20 times more effective than the traditional JPEG algorithm.
The NETTUNO MegaPX’s high resolution produces high-quality video and the MPEG4 Main Profile compression algorithm optimises data more efficiently than traditional compressions methods such as JPEG, significantly reducing bandwidth demand. It also reduces traffic and storage costs.
NETTUNO MegaPX can send high resolution images - 1600 x 1200 or 2 Mpixels - at 12/15 fps, or real time images (25/30 fps) with a 1280 x 1024 resolution (1,3 Mpixel).
Additional features include real time images: 1280 x 1024 (1,3 Mpixel) at 25/30 fps; no interference, maximum dynamic range of 120 dB; ultra-low noise video signal and striking detail and MPEG4 Main Profile, MPEG4 ES Raw, with JPEG algorithms included.
