Open AV unveils control software

Story link: Open AV unveils control software by Jan Harris

Open AV Ltd has launched new software which gives users full control over their house, even when they are away from home.

The web based software can be used with integrated CCTV cameras for added home security.

The cameras can be accessed over the internet, from any location, allowing a property to be viewed remotely.

Users can even talk to members of their family, for added reassurance.

As well as security applications, Open AV’s software provides complete control of lighting, heating and digital entertainment systems, effectively automating a home.

Users can make significant savings on energy bills, as the system can monitor and adjust energy consumption, with potential cost savings of up to 50%.

The sytem also replaces all those easily lost remote controls, as well as untidy cables, as entertainment and environmental systems can be controlled via a wall panel in any room.

Open AV Ltd is available from specialist custom installer, Install Automation.
