IndigoVision IP-CCTV at Central American Automotive Plant

Story link: IndigoVision IP-CCTV at Central American Automotive Plant by Alan Harten

Mexico’s Faurecia car seat plant is the location for the latest deployment by IndigoVision of their IP-CCTV system.

Faurecia boasts some 190 factories spread through 20 countries across the world and is the employer of 60,000 people.

The actual installation and design was performed by IndigoVision’s partner Multielectron and makes use of a combination of fixed cameras and PTZ dome units both inside and outside the plant.

The system is controlled via the company’s Video and alarm management software at a centralised control centre.

From this, station operators can watch live pictures and also record activity at the plant.

The control centre is actually just a basic PC connected into the network, allowing secured access to CCTV workstations and the entire system.

There is continuous recording of 15 day periods via the company’s Windows Network Video Recorder (NVR) server.
