New generation DVR from Bosch

Bosch Security Systems has launched a new generation CCTV management technology that combines the very highest quality digital video recording with an ability to view and control cameras, handle alarms and monitor device status, all through a common interface.
The Divar MR is suited to a wide range of retail, education and leisure applications. It provides simultaneous, real-time recording on up to 16 channels to the pixel resolution standard for video known as CIF (Common Intermediate Format). Four times CIF resolution is also an option if required.
The recorder uses MPEG-4 compression technology to significantly reduce bandwidth and increase its storage capability, whilst reducing the overall storage costs.
The new technology allows users to view a number of live images and play back a scene simultaneously so that past and present events can be compared. An event can be captured at the press of a button on the unit's front panel, and an email can be received when an event occurs.
There is even a smart search feature that helps users find recorded images quickly and efficiently simply by looking for changes in a selected area.
The new system can be controlled either locally or remotely via the intuitive Divar MR Control Centre. The Control Centre enables live viewing and playback, configuration and remote alarm notification.
All operations and controls can be centralised, and for further convenience, live images can also be viewed through Internet Explorer allowing users to keep in touch with their security from virtually anywhere in the world.
The unit is compatible with all other Bosch CCTV technology as well as third-party domes and PTZ cameras.
