QED offers free Baluns

Story link: QED offers free Baluns by Jan Harris

QED has launched a new range of own brand baluns (a type of electrical transformer) which will complement its Vigitron UTP transmission product.

The QED Balun range includes 3 types of passive single channel balun, straight, right angle and one with a short lead attached.

It includes a single channel active balun in both transmit and receive format; a 4 channel passive balun; a 4 channel active transmit and receive balun; and a 16 channel active hub.

Matt Byrom, QED’s Marketing Manager said, “We have been able to price the new baluns very cost effectively. The QED baluns will massively benefit an installer who needs a UTP Transmission solution that will work hassle free first time and also help to reduce costs on a job.”

In order to promote the new range, QED is currently giving away a free pair of single channel passive baluns to any installer who wants to give them a try.

These are available on QED’s website.

The launch of the new range is in line with QED’s recently announced strategy to focus on security consumables.
