Acam Technology, the digital CCTV specialist, has launched a Portable Surveillance System which stores neatly in its own, secure briefcase, making it ideal for applications requiring a temporary, moveable CCTV solution.
The system comprises a DVR with a built-in screen and is available with either a single camera or 4 cameras. It is simple to connect and operate with Acam’s registered Plug and View technology.
The single camera version, which features a 100GB hard drive, gives 100 hours of real-time video. The four-camera version has a 120GB hard drive and provides up to 7 days of multiplexed images.
Cameras are connected to the DVR via a single mult-core cable, and come in a variety of models, including miniature cameras fro covert applications, long-range, motorised zoom cameras, wide-angle models and low light day/night cameras.
The system is already proving its usefulness in crime reduction and councils, police forces, hospital AandE departments, public transport operators, retailers, logistics operations and schools have expressed an interest in the product.
