IndigoVision revealed its upgraded ‘Control Center’ IP Video and alarm management software at the recent IFSEC 2008 show.
Control Center allows local and remote control of any CCTV system, from an entry-level system up to a system with several hundred cameras.
The latest upgrade, Control Center 3.10, provides enhanced alarm handling capabilities designed to help to shorten the response time to incidents.
Control Center 3.10’s enhanced alarm management features include:
Alarm Groups - this feature allows groups of monitors to be designated to display different types of alarms - from access control or intruder systems for example.
Cascaded Alarms - allows each group of alarms to be cascaded or queued in the monitors.
Looped Replay on Alarm - when an alarm is triggered by an event such as forced door, live video from the camera monitoring the door is automatically displayed next to a looped replay of recorded video from the same camera. This means that the operator can see what set off the alarm and monitor the live situation.
Control Center can operate in a black screen monitoring mode, where video is only displayed on alarm.
