Axis is introducing new IP-Surveillance products at IFSEC 2007, the security exhibition which will be held at the NEC in Birmingham, 21-24 May.
The company’s new ultra-compact AXIS 247S Video Server will be demonstrated at the show. The server converts one stream of analogue video into high quality, full frame rate Motion JPEG or MPEG-4 video.
The server is unique as it is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) and also supplies power up into analogue cameras through PoE, making installation easy.
It is ideal for applications where space is limited and can be mounted on a wall or ceiling.
Axis will also demonstrate the AXIS 233D Network Dome Camera - the world’s first network dome camera with progressive scan. The camera features 35 times’ optical zoom and a maximum pan/tilt/zoom speed of 450 degrees per second.
