Thinking more like 20 meters or maybe 200 meters? Is his just incorrectly worded (something I do on occasion)? Or do you really want 20 Km? Anything to the range of 20 Km would be a massive telescope and couldn't possibly work under normal situations except as a view to the sea with no obstructions and even then only in clear air conditions. Even the longest telephoto lenses can't see individuals at 20,000 meters.
20 meters is close to a normal range and 200 would be stretching the limits of most CCTV systems even with long zooms. Last edited by Jim; 06-04-2008 at 12:49 PM. |
