Default Which cam?

I am looking to put 2 cameras up front and back of my house, i have run most of the cable but cant decide what cameras to go for?
Idealy i want domed cameras with as wide a veiw as possible.
I have been to gardiners who seem very expensive they offered a Bosch cam 2,6-6mm lens for about £250 and there own brand Vantage list £299 but would give 50% discount to £150 all seems a lot of money, i know you get what you pay for mostly, but although i am a sparky, i do not have any knowlege in cctv.
So any recomendations greatly accepted.

Cheers
