Default Mic1-400

Please I would like to know if it is possible to intergrate the MIC1 series camera to a LAN and be able to update images on desktops. Also what are the special software if any? Anxiously waiting.....

Tnx
Deep

Is this an already installed Mickey, or something you'd like to do in the future?

You can definitely use a Dedicated Micros DVR to control the Mickey, then use DM's NetVu to connect the DVR to your network and operate the Mickey.

It's not a cheap solution, Mickeys are amongst the most expensive fully-functional cameras, and then of course there's the cost of the DVR.

One DVR can control and record many Mickeys.

Get back to me if you'd like to discuss this further ....

Phil,
With regards....About 50units, 12ft. armoured plated gunboat needs to be equipped with an infra red IP surveillance camera. The idea is to report back images to the command and control centre, real time.....

Tnx & Brgds

Apologies for my loss of attention for a few days.

That's fairly specialised stuff - I'll have a chat with the manufacturer and see what they suggest.

I know that they don't have an IP enabled Mickey yet, but it can be added to an IP network by means of an Axis or Bosch video server.

Mickey can carry IR lamps.

The RNLI (UK lifeboats) have Mickeys fitted for sea-going CCTV.

I'll get back to you ASAP.

Have you got them both set to use the same protocol?
The Mickey will have been ordered with a certain protocol e.g.
MIC400ALBCW14636P - the W in that code = Forward Vision's own protocol

Other protocol's are available.
You can probably select what protocol your keyboard uses.
Set the keyboard to use whatever the Mickey has been set with.
