Hi,
I would like to install an automatic recording security camera system at my house with at least 3 and possibly 4 cameras (night and day type) which would be able to be accessed from the internet when I am not home and would also be able to be accessed from my television when I am there. I am not rich so I am looking for a reasonable priced system. thanks for any help. I am an electrician so wiring up the system is not a problem, ie I do not need a wirefree setup. Thanks for any help, however trivial, I am a complete novice here Regards |

I would like at least 3 and possibly 4 cameras (night and day type), recording onto say a hard drive mounted in the loft which would look after itself but could be accessed from the internet when I am not home and would also be able to be accessed from my television via a cable from the loft to my television system for instant viewing when I am there. I would like to install the system myself as I am an electrician. I do not want a wirefree setup.
If I wake up in the morning and my house has been burgled I want a video of the person that did it with a date and time stamp just in case. If no one breaks into my house I want everything to carry on as normal. Thank for any help How much that will cost I dont know but I would like a lower cost rather than a higher one, would 50 quid be cheeky? |

Yeah £50.00 wouldn't buy you a camera lol, To do what your looking to do you will be looking at around £500.00 for the equipment, You say you want the dvr in the loft and be able to remote view so your looking for a network dvr, day/night camera's x 4, psu, rg59+2 cable etc
How about this................. Camera's = TSionline.co.uk » SafeCore 1/3" SONY CL CCD 10M IR(Day/Night) Camera(Hi Res.) » CR102 Dvr = TSionline.co.uk » 4 Channel MJ CCTV Stand Alone DVR » DVR400MJ

Like with anything, you get what tou pay for. However getting value is very important. If you give me a more realistic budget, I can recommend a 4 camera 'package deal' that will suit your needs and won't cost the earth.

Yeah, your looking at more the £400/500 mark for that. That should get you a pair of external ir cameras, a couple of internals and a fairly decent DVR.
