Hi ive just bought this Micromark MM80112 and was wondering how i would connect it to my pc.

has anyone got a reciver which is capable of being plugged into a pc which can handle multiple cctv cameras, cause i would consider buying that.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

Well my cousin wants to put 4 cameras around his house, and record all of the feeds at the same time the only problem is the RECEIVER does not output four feeds at the same time, it only outputs one feed at a time, so i either need a RECEIVER which is capable of picking up wireless cctv and outputting all feeds OR trying to connect it to the wireless router.

Thank in advance.
Dizzy

Do you have a micro-mark switcher? a grey box that the cameras plug into, it has a big black button on it, and it switches from camera to camera?

Hello Dizzy
before you go wireless around the house, be aware that 2.4ghz is the standard for a cheap system that when installed can be seen by neighbours if they have a video sender which uses the same frequencies. go for cables pain i know but more secure.
also most cheap 4 channel recievers record roughly one frame from each camera at a time. Handy for monitoring your drive way but no good for security. and throw that all in with the fact that you have to have signs up anouncing the fact you have cctv and i bet these cameras have audio too. This is a whole different ball game especially if you can hear the neighbours!

Is this the kit you are talking about dizzy-
If it is, it wont link up to a pc, and as somebody else said these kits only record 1 camera at a time.

You can get an external USB CCTV box to connect the wireless receiver/switcher.
