Hi all, first post!
My dad uses a 4 camara system that stores images on an hard drive (all 4 on one screen but i thought that was just the software for the system?). It records when there is "motion" I fitted him a new hd, works great and has more storage. My main question, why can't i access the files on the old hd? I thought i would find a file type and then sort out a program to view/ edit them? I can't even access the drive (not visible on pc). Basically he wants to remove parts of the video and save them to DVD for viewing on a TV. A number of our family have died over the lst few years and he wants to save the video with them on! Is it possible? Thanks in advance for any advice, not sure what the hd unit is but it was from Maplin Thought it would be straight forward ![]() |
