The DVR is likely to have a BNC video output so it just depends what sort of video input the plasma has really. Then a cable from the DVR to the plasma (just as you would with a normal monitor/TV) should do the trick.
Unfortunately if it's a very large plasma screen you may suffer from some distortion problems and end up with perhaps a not too great looking image....

Hi Sparkies pakatak is spot on, most dvr's have a vga out put to a tft crt monitor then a spot monitor output that will usualy be bnc, make a fly cable up from the dvr to the plasma, bnc at the dvr end, bnc + Bnc/Rca converter at the tv end, plug the Rca into Av1 or Av2 etc , hope that helps

Thats good advise Jack , But you need to bare in mind how many people use terestrial tv anymore... My point being that the old ariel cable has been done away with from the immediate location of the Tv and has been replaced by a digital box setup...

what you need to do is connect the dvr to the rf modulator Video In and then connect the modulator to the slx8l distribution box and set a channel on the modulator then once the channel is set and all is pluged in, go to the tv and put it on anolouge and enter the tv channel the modu is set to and it should be displayedLast edited by jack1120; 03-24-2010 at 09:25 PM. |

Hey, sparkie
i have just had a look at the manual for your distributor and i think it has a modulator built in, have you tried just connecting the dvr out to the CCTV In on the distributor ??? but then it possibly not so you would have to use the one you bought |
